Vehicle
Hire Inclusions
No cleaning fees or extra driver fee. All vehicles are equipped with
radio/cassette, air-conditioned front cabin, fridge, gas stove, camp
chairs, maps, camping guides and living equipment.
All vehicles have power
steering and National Road Service from the Automobile Association.
An additional charge of 2% of the total cost will be levied to cover
state government taxes, duties and associated costs. Payable direct
to Apollo on collection of your vehicle.
Pick Up and Drop Off
Vehicles must be collected and returned to the depots between
8.15am and 4.15pm any day (closed Christmas Day, New Years
Day and Good Friday).
Kilometres
'No worries' unlimited rates.
Insurance
Standard Excess is $5000 or there is a choice of: (1) Liability Reduction,
the cost is $25 ($30 4WD) per day, maximum payable is $1250. An excess
and bond of $2500 applies.
(2) Liability Reduction,
the cost is $35 ($45 4WD) per day, maximum payable is $1750.
Liability will be reduced
to $250. A Bond of $250
will be collected.
As always, insurance is subject to the specific terms and conditions
of the hire contract between the individual hirer and the hire company.
Driving
Area
Sealed roads in Australia. Sealed and gazetted roads for 4WD vehicles.
General
Security
bond to be finalised at time of hire. Baby seats $20 each per rental,
Euro Camper and Eurostar for children under
3 years. Booster seats $20 each per rental, all vehicles except
Hi Top Camper, for children aged 3 to 8 years.
Drivers must
be 21 years and over. Minimum hire for all vehicles is 5 days. From
16 Dec until 14 Jan a 10 day minimum applies. One way hire available.
One way fee $200. Surcharge of $400 for all rentals picking up and
dropping off in Broome (or both).
LP Gas fee
is $15 for a Hi Top and Adventure Camper, $25 for Euro Camper and
Eurostar. Apollo enforce strict cancellation fees.
