Hire Inclusions
Pre hire cleaning fees and extra driver fee. All vehicles are equipped with radio/cassette,
air conditioning, fridge/freezer, gas stove, crockery, cooking utensils, ice
cube tray, coffee plunger and kettle.
Frypan, saucepans, teapot,
bucket, hose, dustpan and brush, broom, pegs, towels and sleeping
linen, toilet paper, toilet chemicals, matches, fire extinguisher,
one full bottle of LPG gas are standard with all vehicles.
All vehicles have power steering, 24 hour roadside assistance, complimentary
travel wallet with helpful hints, tour maps and discount voucher book.
Pick Up and Drop Off
Vehicles must be collected and returned at the Maui branch between 8.00am
and 5.00pm daily. Closed Christmas Day.
A charge of $400 applies
to all rentals picking up or dropping off in Broome.

Insurance
Standard insurance
included, excess of $5000 payable in the event of damage. Options
to reduce excess for Spirit 2, 2 TS, 4 and 6 at $25 per day and
Spirit 4WD at $32 per day reduce excess to $2500.
To reduce the excess to
$220 for Spirit 2, 2 TS, 4 and 6 is $35 per day and to reduce
to $440 for Spirit 4WD is $47 per day. A security deposit of
$5000 for standard insurance, $2500 security bond is required
if your excess is reduced to $2500.
As always, insurance is
subject to the specific terms and conditions of the hire contract
between the individual hirer and the hire company.
Driving Area
Sealed roads in Australia. Gazetted unsealed roads in Australia for 4WD vehicles.
Written permission is required from Maui to travel on the Gibb River Road,
Cape York, Gunbarrel Highway and specific remote outback tracks - please
check.
General
Government
stamp duty and 10% GST is included in hire rates. Security bond
to be finalised at time of hire. Drivers must be 21 years and over.
Minimum hire is 5 calendar days. Additional fee for one way rental
is $220 and 7 day minimum hire.
Additional
equipment (booked at time of reservation) available for hire:
awnings, first aid kit, baby and booster seats, picnic tables
and chairs, outback 4WD safety kit, road atlas, pre-purchase
fuel and gas options.
Additional
services available include personal protection option and 4WD
training course (must be pre-booked).
